Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Newton Schools Foundation can accomplish BIG things. This week NSF Co-president Karen Manning and Vice President Karen Caroll Bennett presented a $215,000 check to Superintendent Dr. Anna Nolin and the Newton School Committee! This BIG check will fund teacher-driven grants that impact students and staff across Newton Public Schools as well as The Calculus Project, an initiative that helps historically disadvantaged students access higher level math classes in high school.
Thank you to all our donors who enable NSF to foster new approaches in the classroom, provide professional development for NPS teachers, and fund programs that promote equity for all students!
We’re excited to begin the review process for our next round of grants to support Newton students and teachers!
