Boston Marathon

David Padgett: NPS Educator, Parent & Marathoner

Hi, I’m David Padgett, and I’m excited to be running the 129th Boston Marathon in support of the Newton Schools Foundation. This incredible organization is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for all students in our community. By funding innovative initiatives and professional development, they help close gaps in achievement, making sure every child has the chance to succeed. Your contributions can make a real difference in the lives of students and teachers, fostering an environment where excellence and equity flourish. As a current NPS educator and parent of two current NPS students, I’m honored to be running not only their behalf, but on behalf of all NPS students and teachers! Please join me in making a positive impact on our local schools and empowering the future leaders of tomorrow!

Recently, I took a training run of 20 miles to every school in the district!  Please click the orange link to watch my journey!
