JBW Fund Mason-Rice Scholarship

Dedicated to Community Outreach and Awareness About Type 1 Diabetes and Its Signs

In addition to Type 1 Diabetes awareness and college scholarships to high school seniors, the JBW Fund provides opportunities for Mason-Rice students and graduates to pursue extracurricular activities by offering financial assistance scholarships to children and families that could benefit from arts or sports focused enrichment opportunities.  If you are interested in finding out more about a scholarship for school vacation camp, sports, music, and art programs, please fill out and submit this form. More about the Jordan Bennett Weiss Fund

Jordan Weiss was a fourth grader at Mason-Rice when he died in 2003 from complications related to undiagnosed type 1 diabetes. The Jordan Bennett Weiss Fund’s mission is to educate families and school personnel about the signs and symptoms of type 1 diabetes.
