When the schools moved to distance learning this spring, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our donors, Newton Schools Foundation approved a grant to the Newton Public Schools of up to $85,500 for the purchase of Google Chromebooks. These laptop computers helped bring educational opportunities into the homes of Newton students during the school closures as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  NSF is committed to closing gaps in achievement and opportunity as part of our mission to advance educational excellence and equity in the Newton Public Schools.
