RAVE-O is a small-group, evidence-based literacy intervention curriculum for students which not only works on decoding skills, but also fluency and comprehension through analyzing words and text to help them read faster and for meaning.
I have already attended the training to learn how to use the curriculum on 9/29/22. I paid for the workshop myself to see if it might be appropriate for some of our learners. The training did not come with any of the materials to implement the program, so if I receive the grant, I will purchase the kit and implement it in the winter (once the kit is received) with one or two small groups of students on my caseload (2-4 times a week), and other gen ed students needing intervention.
