To provide all general education teachers with quality break space tools needed to establish and maintain high quality and effective in class break spaces for all students to access throughout their school day.
Having in class break spaces supports every child’s mental and emotional well-being in the classroom and gives daily opportunities to engage in healthy coping skills that help students build strong connections in their classrooms, increase engagement throughout the day with academics and feel safe and supported in having individual needs met and in taking on more challenges and academic risks throughout the day. In class break spaces support stronger inclusion within the school community.
