Sally Brickell
Sally Brickell has lived in Newton since 1994 and raised four graduates of Newton Public Schools. After 10+ years as an editor and manager at several consulting firms, she co-founded Squared Away, an organizing business.
Passionate about building community, Sally served two terms as co-president of the Cabot School PTO and spent nine years as co-president of the Newton North High School PTSO. She co-founded Just Think: Teens Making Smart Choices, an annual prevention event for teens and families, and chaired the event for ten years.
Sally is currently community representative for the Newton North School Council. She is an active member of Newton Highlands Congregational Church; has served on several committees, oversaw the launch of a new website and upgraded communication system; and is now moderator.
Sally has a B.A. from Smith College and recently earned an M.A. in organizational psychology from William James College.
