Katie Scott currently serves as the Head of Global Communications at Iron Mountain, leading the global corporate communications organization at the company. Her past roles include leadership in communications and marketing across many industries, such as pharmaceuticals, home remodeling and building, and higher education. Additionally, she led, developed and managed diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives for Takeda Pharmaceuticals.

In Newton, Katie is an advocate for justice and equity in the Newton Public School system having served as a room parent and as President of the Newton Early Childhood Program (NECP) Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and a member of the PTO Council Board as the NECP Representative. She also serves as Co-Lead Pastor of NewCity Church and as a member of the Board for NewCommunity Inc., both of which she co-founded with her husband, Devlin.

Katie and her husband have two children, Iain and Aldin who both attend Horace Mann.
