Katie Scott is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of THE COLLECTIVE, a strategic communications and creative consultancy with locations in Boston and Chicago. Katie is a senior executive who has successfully led communications and marketing across many industries, such as information management, pharmaceuticals, home remodeling and building, and higher education. Beyond communications and marketing, she led, created and developed diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and curriculum for a Fortune 1000 global pharmaceutical company.

In Newton, Katie is an advocate for justice and equity in the Newton Public School system. She previously served on the PTO Council Board, and has served on the Newton School’s Foundation Board of Directors since 2020. She also currently serves on The Newton Beacon’s Board of Directors.

Beyond her professional and civic engagements, Katie co-pastors NewCity Church, a congregation in Newton Highlands she co-founded with her husband, Devlin. They are proud parents of two elementary-aged children.
